Descent hotel, professional staff, favourable location near a subway station, we felt safe. Liked TV, a sitting area and a writing desk in the room. The bed was comfortable and pillows too. Location: the property was so close to Chinatown, downtown and McCormick Place which is really nice...

Overnight parking in front from 9pm - 8am (since they never make that clear), metered otherwise. Clean bed, hot shower, AC works. What more do you need. The night custodian is friendlier if you speak Chinese.

cozy stay near parks and cultural landmarks
I loved how close this place is to the Chinese American Museum of Chicago and just a short walk to the Nine Dragon Wall, making my city strolls so enjoyable and nice, especially since the area is full of unique charm and character for explorers like me.

location to McCormick Place and Navy Pier
1. Dark rooms with one bulb/tube light in the middle of room, so unless one sits on table-chair, illumination is not great 2. No lift and my room was on 3rd floor 3. Rooms/Hotel not equipped with washing machine & dryer and hotel staff not aware of public laundry nearby 4. Had to change my room mid-way as due to water leakage from other rooms bathroom my carpet got wet 5. Hotel has one small refrigerator which is usually full, so cannot store food items 6. Staff not helpful due to their lack of English language 7. TV is with Spanish and Chinese language channels 8. Iron board is small in size and stands are merely couple of inches [normally iron boards come up to waist height, this was ankle height]

The 13" TV screen, the dirty carpet, the uncaring receptionist on checkin, did not make me feel welcome for sure.
